  • December Pack Meeting & the next Cubmaster is...‏ Pack 273 Parents- This is such a fantastic time of the year; where we teach our children about generosity and the true spirt of giving. I’m not talking about just material gifts, but also giving our time and talents. We’ve all experienced that wonderful feeling that comes from selfless giving. And now as parents, it’s our job and responsibility to teach our children this important life lesson. To that end, I have an incredible opportunity for one very fortunate individual.   • Feed My Starving Children Project Faith Nobile from Den 7 has reserved 140 spaces of service for Feed My Starving Children.All Scouts and Family members are invited to join.  Please note that we must follow the age requirements:•Kindergarten-2 grade: 1 adult per 1 student•3-6 grade: 1 adult per 3 students•7-9 grade: 1 adult per 4 students•10-12 grade: 1 adult per 5 studentsThis event will take place on Tuesday, Dec 29th from 6 to 7:30 PM at the Libertyville location:   742 East Park Avenue (Hwy 176)    Libertyville, IL 60048   (behind Life Storage, use same parking entrance)This is the maximum # of spaces (140), so it will be only our group during this time. Are you on Facebook?  Pack 273, and the council and district which we belong to all have pages that we can use to share the stories of our scouts (community service, eagle projects, campouts) and promote our fundraising events.  We will be able to submit stories and pictures to share with the larger local area scouting community.  Please like the following pages so you can see updates and we will be posting a photo and paragraph about what our unit is doing!
